Let`s build some useful AddOn
For many people, it is not possible to purchase paid add-ons, especially after purchasing a XenForo license (I say this from personal experience). XenForo's resource manager offers many great features, one of which is that the forum administrator can see which user downloaded a given resource and when download it. But its price is $70, which is not much for what it can do, but for a new forum, and someone who doesn't have enough finances, it's a lot. But it can't be denied that the ability to find out when and which user downloaded an attachment is pretty good.I was looking for alternatives to XenForo's Resource Manager, and there are some, but they are again paid. And then I came across an interesting resource on the official XenForo forum.
Download Tracker 2.0 from the original developer(DRE) of the download tracker idea. The add-on was made for XenForo 1, and unfortunately there have been no updates since March 20, 2013. The question is whether I will be able to rework it for XenForo 2?
If I succeed, we will all have a very useful and unique add-on for XenForo 2. I hope it doesn't break the rules and that it succeeds.
