For many years (since 2007), I have been involved in the design and development of websites, starting with simple HTML and a design pre-made from an image and cut according to precisely defined parameters. I think I don't need to explain how difficult it was back then to create a website that was beautiful and user-friendly.
A few years later I came across Joomla. Yes, it was much better than regular HTML because it had more customization options. But alas, it was again a rigid and difficult system to work with.
Then came Drupal, I won't even comment on it.
From 2014 to 12.12.2024(when I bought a XenForo license), I worked with WordPress, a pretty convenient system for a simple blog, but unreliable (at least for me). It can easily be damaged by installing a bad plugin. You lose access not only to the external side of your website, but also to the admin panel. And if you decide to make it a social system or simply install more than three plugins, you can forget about optimization and fast loading of your site. And with her, the CEO doesn't need any comment, it's a tragedy. ![Big grin :D :D](https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f600.png)
And here we come. I have been following the development of XenForo since the beginning of 2022, because I visited a forum using this very system. I have been through PHPbb3 and I can't say that I am satisfied. But when I first loaded XenForo, my reaction was "Wow... there are reactions to the posts". And not only that, there are dozens and maybe hundreds of other reasons to love XenForo. I have discussed the system with friends and acquaintances who have used it and their feedback was 100% positive. And after seeing that the developers of XenForo never stopped developing it, it was reason enough to buy it.
I am also an occultist (but that will be discussed some another day), an amateur electrician and a pretty good cooker (at least according to my wife and kids
). Well, that's it for me in a nutshell, if you have any questions, ask me. ![Smile :) :)](https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f642.png)
